An important part of our summer camp program is the pastor in residence. These are local ministers, Christian educators, and seminary students who volunteer with us to enrich campers’ growth in Christ.
In addition to leading several worship services during the week, pastors in residence work with camper groups to plan and share morning devotions. They also lead Bible studies and discussions with groups. Each group is encouraged to schedule at least one session per week.
Beyond these “duties,” pastors are available to talk with campers and counselors. We are grateful for the faithful and fun contributions these folks make to our ministry. And we are glad to share with them the adventure and peace available at camp.
