As part of our covenant agreement with Presbytery of the James, we are delighted to host church professionals, such as clergy, Christian educators, and commissioned ruling elders, at Camp Hanover. Find rest and rejuvenation through a stay in Newell Cabin.
Newell Cabin
(sleeps 10)
The newest cabin at Camp Hanover, Newell has a small kitchenette, a great room, a screened porch, and a fire circle.
Newell features four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Two bedrooms have two single beds. The other two bedrooms have three single beds. One bathroom is wheelchair accessible. The building is air conditioned or heated, depending on the season.
A microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, and coffee maker are available in the kitchenette.
Bed linens and towels are provided, as is wi-fi.

- Personal retreats are typically 2-3 days.
- Your family is welcome to join you.
- Meals are not provided.
- Midweek visits are the easiest to confirm.
- Paying groups have priority for weekend reservations. If you wish to visit on a Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday, please check with us three weeks in advance. If Newell is available, we will be happy to reserve it for you.
Personal retreats are not available during June and July due to summer camp. (Clergy and Christian educators may be interested in serving as a pastor/educator-in-residence during these months. Contact Harry Zweckbronner for more information.)
