We are grateful to work with groups like the Autism Society Central Virginia and Beyond Boundaries, helping them make amazing outdoor experiences possible.
ASCV has been offering education, advocacy, services, and support for individuals with autism, their families and friends, and professionals in our community for more than 40 years.
Beyond Boundaries specializes in guiding participants with disabilities, veterans, underserved youth, and those in recovery programs on outdoor adventures.
In March, the two organizations held their second annual campout for fathers, father figures, and sons at Camp Hanover. Participants enjoyed archery, fishing, crafting, and—of course—roasting s’mores over the campfire.
ASCV and BB also have been hosting campouts for adults at Camp Hanover since 2022. Check out photos and read about a recent adult campout on BB’s blog.
