Happy 25th anniversary to Comfort Zone Camp! CZC transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person.
CZC started in 1999, with their first weekend camp on May 21. That event was held at—you guessed it!—Camp Hanover. Check out photos from that weekend on Facebook.
Headquartered in Virginia, CZC has expanded across the country, holding camps coast to coast. Their camps and programs are free to participants.
We are grateful to have hosted them many times in the ensuing years and welcome them back in November for the Mary Haney Memorial Camp.
